Make Your Ramadan 2016 a Transformation Experience
We are living in the world of flamboyant glittering where the gold attracts and old nullified, where humanity has no cost but cheating makes you a millionaire, where a single blot of evil makes you a terrorist and a good virtue done is forgotten, where all Muslim rituals have become a burden rather a blessing and where Ramadan the month Allah has addressed as His own is just a duty to eat sleep and repeat rather Zikar and Fikar.

productive Ramadan 2016
Month of Allah & For Allah:
Have you ever thought why this month has described as the month loved and owned by Allah? Why a single deed will have a rewarded of ten times? Why it is forbidden to eat, drink, and relinquish what we love and desire form dawn until dusk. These are the questions which transform a man into a Muslim He has loved and adored. The answers to these questions are very simple and clear:
  • Owned by Allah:
The Lord of the universe says, Every action of the son of Adam is for him except fasting, for that is solely for Me. I give the reward for it. The fast is a shield.” [Al Bukhari]
This act is solely for Him because He purifies the soul and rewards His slave by removing the inflictions of hell fire and world miseries to make him a contented worshipper.
  • Single Deed Multiple Virtues:
Every single deed will be rewarded ten times be a small gesture of kindness or act of humanity. Allah has promised to grant virtues ten times than a usual virtue in the month of Ramadan as Muhammad (PBUH) said:
“Him in Whose Hands my soul is, the smell coming out from the mouth of a fasting person is better in the sight of Allah than the smell of musk. (Allah says about the fasting person), ‘He has left his food, drink, and desires for My sake. The fast is for Me. So I will reward (the fasting person) for it and the reward of good deeds is multiplied ten times.” [Al Bukhari]
Will you be alive for next Ramadan?
None of us is sure about the next Ramadan, none is confident to seek the next Holy month and to mend the sins committed. This Ramadan 2016 is the only and available month to ask for Allah’s forgiveness and to atone sins you have committed the entire year.
Ramadan 2015 has passed and only the mighty Lord knows what we have earned but Ramadan 2016 is around the corner and just a week away. The month of Hidayah, Baraka has sought as shortcut to seek Allah’s mercy. Ramadan is way ahead of just making Ibadah but a month to reshape imaan. It is reinvigorating, reconnecting, restarting, rekindling, and rejuvenating with Allah at the higher level with soul purification and atonement of sins is the essence of Ramadan.
Ironically, we keep ourselves at distant form what we have ordered to stay away from but as soon as the moon has sighted for Eid the beast within unleashed and here we are on a rollercoaster eat what left, do what was avoided and forget the people around us.
Transform yourself with This Ramadan:
Ramadan is about ibadah, Nawafil and Sajood but what missing is Haqooq ul ibaad, which is of paramount importance. We stuffed ourselves with food, make lavish arrangements but forget the deserving people around and the ones for whom this Ramadan is of real test. Transformation comes within when you in actual lit the candles for others and attain real happiness in return.
  • Sharing is caring:
Ramadan is obligatory upon every Muslim and is not allowed to quit unless in certain conditions. A recent video popped up in which a Mufti broke down when he read a question from Somalia brother asking whether his fast will be accepted without Sahur and iftar? This depicts the plight and ignorance towards Muslim brothers, as we are obsessed with ourselves and ignore the needy ones.
Feed them, cloth them and break their fast which is dear to Allah than the ibadah and Nawafils done in this month of Ramadan.
“Whoever gives food to a fasting person with which to break his fast will have a reward like his without detracting from the reward of the fasting person in the slightest.” [Tirmidhi]
  • Gain the Missing Soul of Productivity:
We always complain that we lack satisfaction in our lives an indeed we do but do you have cure to that? Ramadan is the ailment to all such inner anxiety and satisfaction by experiencing the joy and smile you can bring by simple gestures on the festivity of Eid.
Share clothes, gift, and other food items with the ones residing in old homes, homeless kids, and IDPs displaced because of ongoing war in Waziristan. The smile and virtue that you will gain is worth than anything.
  • Do something Different:
Doing Nawafil, Taraweh, Recitaion of Quran is what all muslims do but this Ramadan do something different to help the creator’s people along the ibadah. There are number of things that you can opt and apply this Ramadan explicitly including:
- Ramadan is in hot scratching summer hence the effect can be minimized by providing water coolers in bus stations or crowded areas so that the needy ones can break the fast. This act can benefit those who are not fasting due to any permissible reasons.
- Control anger and forgive even if it is not your fault. Set the standards so that you be rewarded for your deeds at higher degrees.
- Give Zakah to the ones who are needy but cannot ask for help because of their dignity. Give them charity and let Allah be your guidance and helper in times of need.
Small deeds are the ones which are liked by Allah no matter what so start with small but do it constantly as stated: “The deed liked most by Allah is one to which the doer adheres constantly even if it is small. [Sahih Muslim]
Surmising, this is the wrath of Allah upon us all that we are in such plight and agony. Muslims are oppressed and neglected be in Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq or Pakistan the reason is we have stopped caring about them the way we were instructed. This Ramadan make a pledge to revive imaan and humanity be helping them the way they need us as divided we fall and united we stand, verily the best ibadah and deed in front of Allah is to fulfill the rights of His people.
